The development of historical education in Berdyansk was researched by the doctors of historical sciences I. Lyman and V. Konstantinova (the members of Research Institute of Urban History) in the archeographic edition «Historical Education in Berdyansk, from boy’s gymnasium to social and humanitarian faculty of BSPU". This edition includes the sources about the formation and development of historical education in the Berdyansk boy’s gymnasium, Berdyansk pedagogical school, Berdyansk pedagogical courses and Teachers College, Berdyansk Institute of Social Education, Berdyansk State Pedagogical Institute, Berdyansk (Osypenko) State Teachers Institute, Osypenko (Berdyansk) State Pedagogical Institute, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
