Presentation of historical and cultural anthology «Frontiers of city»
In Dnipropetrovsk, on October the 12th, 2012 the press-conference «Presentation of historical and cultural anthology «Frontiers of city» was in the media center «Dneprpost». The edition combines advanced scientific research of urban tradition in Ukraine and Russia. «This is a anthology about urban history, which include the East-European space» – said the editor of the anthology «Frontiers city», Ph.D. Vladislav Gribovskiy, the member of Research Institute of Urban History.

The first edition of the anthology «Frontiers of city» was published in September. By definition of editor V. Gribovskiy, «Frontiers of city» is fundamentally new edition, which united the city with «Frontier’s themes» by means of approaches of history, sociology, ethnography, artistic expression and view». The themes of the first edition: «Life and the status of women of Smolensk under the rule Rzecz Pospolita» (L. Ivonina), «City of frontier and its inhabitants (on example of Samara)» (P. Kabytov and Z. Kobozeva), «Small town-fortress of Podillya in the XVI - XVII centuries: stylistic frontier and development of fortifications » (K. Lipa), (V. Konstantinova).
