“From the Aegean to the Black Sea”: International Conference in Athens

14-15 October 2016 the Institute of Historical Research of the National Hellenic Research Foundation (IHR/NHRF) and the History Department of the Ionian University co-organized an international conference “From the Aegean to the Black Sea”. The conference was dedicated to the memory of Evridiki Sifneos, who was Research Director in the IHR/NHRF. The conference served as a forum in which Greek and foreign colleagues presented their studies on themes close to the research interests and other activities of Evridiki Sifneos, a scholar who labored continuously with aplomb, passion and good cheer for the promotion of scientific knowledge.
