The Workshop in Kyiv

On the 5th of July, 2013 the workshop «Methodological aspects of teaching gender theory in higher education» was held with the support of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Kyiv. Iuliia Korolevska, the member of the Research Institute of Urban History, was participant of this workshop, as well as teachers of gender theory from all over the country. The workshop was organized on the occasion of the presentation of the textbook «Gender for media». During the event, the authors shared their experience in writing this work. There were three discussion panels of the workshop, where teachers shared their teaching experience of «problem» issues of gender courses. Also, participants of the workshop organized book panel, during which all could exchange books on gender/feminist/queer issues.
