The Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora initiative is launching a pilot mentoring programme to support and develop scientists working in Ukraine. Our goal is to strengthen cooperation between Ukrainian scientists both in Ukraine and abroad.
Who can become a mentee:
- Ukrainian scientists working in Ukraine
- Employees of universities, scientific institutions, and think tanks
- Specialists in the following fields: Chemical sciences, chemical engineering, and nanotechnology; Natural and medical sciences; Biological sciences and healthcare; Mathematics, computer science, and mechanical engineering; Economics and business
What you will receive:
- Individual support from an experienced mentor from the Ukrainian scientific diaspora
- Access to international professional networks
- Opportunities for developing research projects
- Support in preparing the publication of research results
We expect participants to:
- Be motivated to grow professionally
- Be ready to work with a mentor
- Be interested in the development of Ukrainian science
- Willingness to participate in regular online meetings (1+ hour per week)
Duration of the pilot programme: 3 months (February-April 2025)
Participation in the programme is free of charge.
As this is a pilot project, the number of places is limited. If you are not selected for the first group of participants, don't worry! We will definitely invite you to participate in the next stages of the programme.
