"Strengthening cooperation with the global Ukrainian community"

On the eve of International Migrants Day, celebrated on 18 December, Ihor Lyman had the honour of being invited by the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to an event organised with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine entitled "Strengthening Cooperation with the Global Ukrainian Community".
Speakers were Alessia Schiavon (Chief of IOM Mission in Ukraine), Mariana Betsa (Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine), Vasyl Bodnar (Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Poland), Iryna Turchak (Director of Ukrainian Office, United Help Ukraine), Eva Kurilets (Director of Ukrainian Office, Razom for Ukraine), Victoria Drach (Director of Ukrainian Office, Nova Ukraine), Daryna Marchak (First Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine), Nataliya Zhynkina (Head of Economic and Trade Coordination Bureau, Economic Diplomacy Department, MFA Ukraine).
In his presentation, Michael Newson (IOM Senior Programme Coordinator) mentioned the planned cooperation with the Ukrainian Scientific Diaspora initiative. At the end, Igor Lyman described this initiative.
