"British Consuls in the Port City of Berdyansk" is the best book in a nomination of the All-Ukrainian "Biographical Rating-2018"
June 4, 2019 the results of the All-Ukrainian "Biographical Rating-2018" (http://biography.nbuv.gov.ua/rating/r2018/?fbclid=IwAR2FI-oJujr9dCqRMOtZnx-rKVlmqG6Byym7uIjqIPRLzbwfyV_Umn-RKAc%20 http://bukvoid.com.ua/events/bookmarket/2019/06/05/185359.htm) were summed up in Kyiv. Top 10 of this rating included the books of members of the Research Institute of Urban History Igor Lyman and Viktoria Konstantinova "German Consuls in the Northern Azov Region" and "The Ukrainian South as Viewed by Consuls of the British Empire (Nineteenth - Early Twentieth Centuries). Volume 1: British Consuls in the Port City of Berdyansk". The second book, according to the results of the voting of experts, was recognized as the best in the nomination "Collective Portrait" and received the diploma of the 1st degree.
"The Ukrainian South as Viewed by Consuls of the British Empire (Nineteenth - Early Twentieth Centuries). Volume 1: British Consuls in the Port City of Berdyansk" was published thanks to the support rendered by the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies (the Mykhailo, Volodymyr, and Olia Halchuk Memorial Endowment Fund).
June 14, 2019 at the ASEEES Summer Convention in Zagreb Igor Lyman and Viktoria Konstantinova met with Jars Balan and Volodymyr Kravchenko (the Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies) and thanked for supporting publishing the book (see the photo).
