Experience of QUAERE - at the conference "Ukraine - European Union: from partnership to association"

On March 19-20, 2019, Ukrainian Association of Professors and Researchers of European Integration (Chairperson - Irina Sikorskaya) and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv held the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Ukraine - European Union: From Partnership to Association" (for the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Partnership and Cooperation Agreement between Ukraine and the EU).

The event was held under the auspices of Jean Monnet Erasmus+ program within the framework of the project "Enhanced Visibility of European Integration Teaching and Research" in partnership with the Ukrainian Association of International Law and Erasmus + in Ukraine in cooperation with the initiative "European Parliament to Campus" with the support of the Lviv City Council "Scientific Lviv"

Among the speakers of the conference were Jacek Kluczkowski, Ukraine Coordinator at the Institute for Eastern European Studies, Warsaw (Warsaw, Poland), Polish Ambassador in Ukraine 2005-2010; Andrew Duff – President of the Spinelli Group, Invited Researcher of the European External Action Service (Brussels, Belgium), Member of the European Parliament of the United Kingdom from 1999 to 2014; Paulo Canales de Castro – President of the Asia-Pacific Association for EU Studies, Head of the Chair Jean Monnet at the University of Macao (China); Mykola Gnatovsky – Vice-President of the Ukrainian Association of International Law, President of the European Committee for the Prevention of Torture and Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment.

Berdyansk State Pedagogical University was represented at the conference by Igor Lyman and Viktoria Konstantinova, "Cooperation of Ukraine with the EU within the framework of the Erasmus + project "Quality Assurance System in Ukraine: Development on the Base of ENQA Standards and Guidelines", which describes the participation experience of BSPU in the QUAERE project.
The results of the conference are highlighted in the Ukrainian Yearbook of European Integration Studies
