Round table "Ukrainian-Russian frontier…"
The round table "Ukrainian-Russian frontier: the possibilities of studying collective identities of Donbas population in conditions of the hybrid warfare by the methods of oral history" took place in Berdyansk State Pedagogical University on September 8-10, 2017.
The event was organized by Research Institute of Urban History, Berdyansk branch of Zaporizhzhya Scholarly Society of Y. Novytskyi, Kowalsky Eastern Institute of Ukrainian Studies (Kharkiv), NGO “Urban Initiatives” with support of Kowalsky Program for the Study of Eastern Ukraine (Canadian Institute of Ukrainian Studies).
The round table is the first stage of the project for research of collective identities of the population of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in the context of Ukrainian-Russian frontier, as well as studying the deep-seated mood of the inhabitants of the region.
Within the framework of the round table presentations of Kowalsky Eastern Institute of Ukrainian Studies (Andrij Domanovskij) Zaporizhzhya Scholarly Society of Y. Novytskyi (Serhii Bilivnenko) and Research Institute of Urban History (Victoria Konstantinova) were held.
