European Youth Parliament in Azerbaijan

This year European Youth Parliament held at the Republic of Azerbaijan (Ganja, August 20-24, 2014). Young people (50 delegates) from Europe and Azerbaijan took part in this forum, a delegate from Ukraine was Iuliia Korolevska, the member of the Research Institute of Urban History.

European Youth Parliament is one of the recognized and successful youth organizations in Europe, which aim to create a platform for political debate, intercultural encounters, political educational work and the exchange of ideas among young people. Forum program was very intense. Besides working committees were provided the official meetings with the Ambassador of Andorra and the Mayor of Ganja. A special place takes a cultural program, which included the Eurovillage and concerts of Azerbaijan’s music and dance. In Eurovillage delegates of every country presented their homelands.

The geographical diversity of the countries makes this event a platform for intercultural communication.
