On September 2-11, 2020, the second online workshop of the project “Training Course on Management of Internationalisation and German-Ukrainian Academic Cooperation 2020-2021” took place.

The project is implemented by Leibniz University Hannover and is financed by DAAD from funds provided by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).
Nataliya Butych, Dr. Birgit Barden-Läufer and Aleksandra Sviridova represented the organizers.

Among others, the presentations and panels were held:

• Leo Goudswaard – “Project Management”;

• Em. Prof. Elspeth Jones – “Internationalisation of curriculum@home”, as well as interviews with Jos Beelen, Tracy Zou and Eva Haug;

• Dr. Tanja Reiffenrath – “Internationalisation of curriculum: German Experience”;

• Katherine Acuña Páez – “International Collaboration Project “Advocate for Change”;

• Marion Kraft, Julia Harmeling, Manuela Schimmels and Nadine Sturm – “Welcome and Support Offers: international students, doctoral students, guest researchers”;

• Dr. Susanne Lüdtke, Diana Scherer, Inna Rechtmann and Gisela Zimmermann – “Presentation of the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) Bonn, Section P23 – Cooperation Projects in Europe, South Caucasus, Central Asia. Scholarship Programmes for Ukraine”;

• Dr. Balasubramanian Ramani – “Indian Higher Education and Research Landscape. Presentation of Indian Universities: KIIT University, VIT University, IIT Indore, IISER Pune”;

• Dr. Jörn Achterberg, Mechthild Köhle – “German Research Foundation: Funding of International Research Projects”;

• Yin Wang – “Higher Education and Research Landscape in China”;

• Dr. phil. Tim Flink – “Introduction into Science Diplomacy”;

• Dr. Oksana Seumenicht – “An Overview of the German-Ukrainian Academic Society and Funding Opportunities for Early-Career Researchers”.

Representatives of 18 Ukrainian universities of the project, including Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, participated in the online workshop.

Andriy Popov (Kharkiv National Agrarian University named after V.V. Dokuchayev) and Iryna Kohut (Poltava V.G. Korolenko National Pedagogical University) presented the intermediate results of their individual projects.

Whereas Seafile, Skype and Zoom were used for the previous online workshop, which took place at the very beginning of the quarantine (http://ri-urbanhistory.org.ua/en/home/12-news-en/730-novi-vikliki-internatsionalizatsiji-novi-pidkhodi-on-lajn-vorkshop-u-gannoveri-2 ), now Adobe Connect, Jitsi and Microsoft Teams were used.

According to the conditions of the organizers, project presentations cannot be posted on the Internet in a public domain, instead it is allowed to introduce them to interested staff and students of Universities whose representatives participate in the project.
