Regional and Economic Diplomacy Summit in Warsaw

On September 9-10, 2019, Regional and Economic Diplomacy Summit was held at Hilton Warsaw Hotel. It gathered more than 1400 participants from all over Europe. About 100 experts spoke at 25 panel discussions on local government, business and science.

The main organizer of the conference was the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology of the Republic of Poland.
More than 30 institutions (ministries, Polish and foreign regions, non-government and business organizations as well as analytical centers) presented their stands in the exhibition area.

One of the Summit panels "Scientific Cross-border Cooperation at the Regional Level" presented the project "Innovation University and Leadership" (http://ri-urbanhistory.org.ua/projects/9-news/687-zavershennya-iv-fazi-proektu-innovatsijnij-universitet-i-liderstvo) (Professors Taras Finikov and Robert Sukharski). About 40 participants took part in the panel from all the last IV Phases of this project who gathered in Warsaw to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the project "Innovation University and leadership". Among them is professor Igor Lyman from BSPU.

At a special meeting at the University of Warsaw it was announced the creation of the non-government organization "Innovative University" and discussed the plans of its activities, written applications for admission to it.
