Consul General of Greece in Mariupol honored the memory of Consuls of Greece in Berdyansk

September 21, 2017 Berdyansk was visited by Consul General of Greece in Mariupol Eleni Georgopoulou.

The main purpose of the visit is to open a memorial plaque on the house where the Consulate of the Kingdom of Greece in Berdyansk was located in the 19th century.

Research of history of the Greek Consulate, which existed in Berdyansk before 1918, its Consuls, in general the contribution of the Greeks to the development of the city were subjects of discussions during the visit of Eleni Georgopoulou to Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and the museum of its history.
